Fundraising Initiatives

Student Life External Engagement coordinates Student Life’s involvement in major campuswide and divisional fundraising initiatives, helping departments identify the best fit for their projects while ensuring strong divisional representation in efforts such as We Are UA, Bama Blitz and other annual giving opportunities.

We also oversee divisional annual-giving-level fundraising strategies, including campaigns for divisional support funds and select donor wall and commemorative paver opportunities.

Divisional Support Funds

Donor Wall Fundraising Initiatives

  • Greek Assembly Hall Donor Wall
Leadership‑level gifts may be recognized on the donor wall inside Greek Assembly Hall. These gifts support scholarships and programmatic needs for NPHC and UGC students.
  • Student Well‑Being Hub Donor Wall
Supporters can leave a legacy on the Student Well‑Being Hub Donor Wall through gifts benefiting one of the Hub’s wellness units.

Commemorative Pavers

Commemorative pavers allow supporters to leave a lasting mark on campus while contributing to Student Life scholarships and other divisional priorities.

Crimson Promenade

Celebrates generations of UA students, alumni, leaders and friends. Proceeds support student scholarships and divisional priorities.

National Pan-Hellenic (NPHC) Plaza

Honors the legacies of NPHC organization members. Proceeds support the plaza and students in NPHC and UGC organizations.

Tutwiler Promenade

Allows supporters to personalize a paver in recognition of meaningful moments or people. Proceeds support housing scholarships

Crowdfunding Support

Crowdfunding is an option for time‑bound projects with a clear purpose. Student Life External Engagement and Communications helps departments assess whether crowdfunding is the right fit, refine the project and prepare materials before partnering with Advancement’s Annual Giving office, which manages the campaign platform.
